  • Antwan Alexander II was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. He dreamed of a career in the entertainment business from an early age, while his parents instilled the importance of getting his education. After high school, he decided to pursue a degree in English at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Here, he developed a passion for the world of academia and the opportunities it could provide for young men and women trying to find their purpose in life. UNC Charlotte also provided him with his first glimpse of studying abroad, which permanently changed his views on the world. After graduating from UNC Charlotte, he decided to pursue a law degree at his dream school UNC School of Law. While at UNC School of law, Antwan studied abroad in London and Madrid, Spain, for a full academic year, graduating from Comillas Universidad with an LL.M. degree in International and European Business Law. The following year in 2017, he graduated from UNC Law School and then moved to Los Angeles, California, to pursue a career in entertainment. Antwan then enrolled in Southwestern Law School's Entertainment and Media Law LL.M. program for his final academic step. In his last semester at Southwestern Law School, he tragically lost his Father to stage four cancer at 47 years old. From that difficult moment, he realized that fighting for and mastering your true purpose is the ultimate aim in life. After his Father's funeral, he returned to Los Angeles and completed his LL.M. on schedule for May 2018 graduation. Since then, he has worked in Business and Legal Affairs and Diversity and Inclusion at Platform One Media's television studios and parent their company Boat Rocker Media. He believes that if we can all find our purpose and inspire others along the way, that's a life well-lived.
